What Makes Our Beans Different

Coffee’s journey from the farmer to your cup is complicated - but the best cup always starts with the best beans. Specialty coffee beans are professionally assessed and graded in the top 10% of beans available worldwide.

When you use our beans, you’re not just making great coffee. You’re making a positive impact that ripples out literally all over the globe. We partner exclusively with bean importers who value what we value: quality, environmental sustainability and the economic well-being of coffee farmers, their families and their communities.

Once we’ve found the best beans, we develop roasting styles that bring out each green coffee bean’s full potential and accentuate its natural flavors. So, no matter your preferred brewing style (drip, pourover, espresso or immersion), Bob's Bean Roastery has the best beans and recipes to suit your taste.

The end result? A cup of coffee that’s good for the farmer, good for the planet, and great for your morning.

Meet the Bob Behind the Beans

If there’s one thing Bob Busick has learned in his years working in finance, landscaping, politics, the brewery industry, and the U.S. Marine Corps, it’s that there’s no shortcut to doing things the right way.

That applies to coffee, too.

That’s why he’s hunted down the best beans, roasted those beans in a style that amplifies their natural yumminess, and bagged the freshest and best coffee you’ll ever taste.

And now, he’s sharing it with the world.

Bob’s Beans - The Bean of the People!

Specialty coffee is not about being a “coffee snob.” Specialty coffee is what you deserve. It’s more flavorful, healthy, and a ritual that will elevate your day in a way your average cup of joe just cannot do.

You don’t need to invest in the latest $500 burr grinder, buy a $3,000 home espresso machine or have a dozen or so brewing devices to enjoy great coffee. (Unless, of course, you want to — go ahead; we’re not judging you!) Even a 12 oz. bag of specialty beans that costs $20 comes out to roughly $1 per cup. Imagine all that joy for so little! Approach it with joy and anticipation. And, if you’ve done it right, that last sip will leave you a little sad that the experience is over… for now.
